Synergy Management Tools

Overview of the Synergy Management Tools

The Synergy Management Tools are intended primarily for system supervisors and expert users.

They provide a physical link to the database, allowing hardware devices to be configured and associated with an existing Synergy system. They also provide low-level access to data which will be significantly faster than that which can be achieved via a web browser.

Once a device has been added to Synergy via the Web Interface, the Management Tools can be used to perform configuration tasks such as Synchronising, Calibrating and Merging on that device.

In general, these tools should be used where there is no hardware firewall/internet connection between the Synergy Management Tools and the Synergy Server.

The use of these tools requires an SQL connection to the Synergy Server. IMC recommends that Users do not open SQL connections through externally facing firewalls.

These tools currently provide the capability to perform the following tasks:

Synchronising USB Devices

Calibrating USB Devices

Merging USB Devices

CR3 (Network) Configuration

SR2 Configuration

SR2 Network Configuration

Wood Watch Configuration

AE Device Configuration

Current Clamp Configuration
